Blaney’s Thoughts on Richmond…

“We typically run pretty well at Richmond, and we’re certainly hoping to continue that trend this weekend.  It’s a great track to race on, wide enough to find places to pass and small enough to put on a great show for the fans.  Everybody loves racing in Richmond.

“Obviously, last weekend was a pretty bad one for this Caterpillar Racing team, and while we have to put it behind us and concentrate on what’s ahead, we can’t forget it.  We need to remember what it felt like to load our things up early, and we need to remember that we owe ourselves and our sponsors more than that so that it doesn’t happen again.  This next stretch of races has, in the past, been some of our better tracks, but you can’t take anything for granted at this point.”
